The Peugeot Type 27 is an early car model from the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 29 of which were produced at the Audincourt plant from 1899 to 1902 .

The vehicles had a two-cylinder , four-stroke engine that was manufactured in-house and that was located in the rear and powered the rear wheels via a chain. The engine developed between 7 and 8 hp .

With a wheelbase of 205 cm, the vehicle length was 310 cm and the vehicle height was 190 cm. The Landaulet body shape offered space for three people.
