Peugeot Type 48 from 1902

The Peugeot Type 48 is an early car model from the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 131 of which were produced at the Audincourt plant in 1902 .

The vehicles had a single - cylinder four-stroke engine that was arranged at the front and propelled the rear wheels via cardan shafts. The engine developed 6.5 HP from a displacement of 833 cm³ .

With a wheelbase of 170 cm and a track width of 110 cm, the vehicle length was 290 cm, the vehicle width 125 cm and the vehicle height 148 cm. The Tonneau body shape offered space for four people.
