Peugeot type 21

The Peugeot Type 21 is an early car model of the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 9 of which were produced at the Audincourt plant from 1898 to 1901 .

The vehicles had a two - cylinder four-stroke engine made in-house , which was arranged horizontally in the rear and powered the rear wheels via a chain. The engine developed between 5 and 8 hp .

With a wheelbase of 165 cm, the vehicle length was 260 cm and the vehicle height was 190 cm. The coupé body shape offered space for four people.
