The Peugeot Type 33 is an early car model from the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 84 of which were produced at the Audincourt plant from 1901 to 1902 .

The vehicles had a two - cylinder four-stroke engine made in-house , which was arranged horizontally in the rear and powered the rear wheels via a chain. The engine developed between 4 and 8 hp .

With a wheelbase of 165 cm, the vehicle length was 260 cm and the vehicle height 240 cm. The Phaetonnet body shape offered space for four people.
