The Peugeot Type 139 is an early car model from the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 551 of which were produced at the Lille plant from 1911 to 1913 .

The vehicles had a four-cylinder four - stroke engine , which was arranged at the front and propelled the rear wheels via cardan shafts. The engine developed 16 hp from a displacement of 3,817 cm³ .

There were models 139 and 139 A. With a wheelbase of 316.5 cm, the track width was 140 cm. The torpedo and coupé sedan body styles offered space for four to five people.
