Peugeot Type 88

The Peugeot Type 88 is an early car model from the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 525 of which were produced at the Audincourt plant from 1907 to 1908 .

The vehicles had a two - cylinder four-stroke engine , which was arranged at the front and powered the rear wheels via a chain. The engine developed 10 HP from a displacement of 1817 cm³ .

There were the models 88 A, 88 B and 88 C. With a wheelbase of 265 cm, the track width was 135 cm. The body shapes Doppelphaeton and Torpedo offered space for four people, the delivery van for two people.
