The Peugeot Type 24 is an early car model of the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 20 of which were produced at the Audincourt plant from 1898 to 1902 .

The vehicles had a two - cylinder four-stroke engine made in-house , which was arranged horizontally in the rear and powered the rear wheels via a chain. The engine developed between 10 and 12 hp .

With a wheelbase of 138 cm, the vehicle length was 225 cm and the vehicle height was 190 cm. The two-seater body shape offered space for two people, with an emergency seat for three people.
