The Peugeot Type 176 is an early car model of the French car manufacturer Peugeot , of which 1512 copies were produced at the Issy-les-Moulineaux plant from 1923 to 1928 .

The vehicles had a valveless four-cylinder four - stroke engine , which was arranged at the front and propelled the rear wheels via cardan shafts. The engine developed 55 hp from a displacement of 2493 cc .

With a wheelbase of 325.2 cm and a track width of 137 cm at the front and 138 cm at the rear, the vehicle length was 434.2 cm, the vehicle width 165 cm and the vehicle height 182 cm. The body shapes Torpedo, Torpedo grand sport, inner handlebar, convertible and coupé offered space for two to six people.
