Unplugged Deluxe is a live album by British rock musician Eric Clapton . It includes edited original recordings as well as previously unreleased tracks from his most successful album, Unplugged . The re-release ranked # 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2013 and ranked # 3 on the Billboard Pop Catalog chart.
Criticism
Critic Sabine Feickert from rocktimes.de commented positively on the album and put it in conclusion: “Anyone who still (or maybe again) has the“ Unplugged ”, especially the DVD, on the wish list can access it without hesitation.“ Journalist Huw Woodward from renownedforsound.com describes the re-release as "a fitting and satisfactory update of one of the most interesting and enjoyable albums of all time". He awarded 4.5 stars out of 5 for the re-release. Paul McBride of theaureview.com thinks that Unplugged Deluxe is a reminder of Clapton's album and “its brilliance”. McBride awarded 8.6 out of 10 points. dailyvault.com critic Jason Warburg gave it an "A-" rating and notes that there are "some interesting outtakes" on Unplugged Deluxe . Seattlepi.com critics find that the "original version was properly honored".
