  • Beijing / China : A Chinese man attacks two US tourists with their city guide and kills one of them. The second tourist and the guide are injured. After the bloody act, the perpetrator falls from the historic drum tower .
  • Zurich / Switzerland : Around 820,000 people from all over Europe come to the Street Parade on Zurich's lake basin, which begins in the early afternoon with the parade of 27 decorated “Love Mobiles” and this year the motto is “Friendship”.
