Copa del Generalísimo 1973/74

The Copa del Generalísimo 1974/75 was the 71st edition of the Spanish soccer cup competition , which takes place today under the name Copa del Rey .

The competition started on October 30, 1974 and ended with the final on July 5, 1975 at the Estadio Vicente Calderón in Madrid . The defending champion of the cup competition was Real Madrid . Real Madrid won the title again with a 4-3 win on penalties in the final against city rivals Atlético Madrid . This qualified the Madrilenians for the European Cup Winners' Cup 1975/76 .
