Frénois is a small French commune in the Vosges department of the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Neufchâteau and the Canton of Darney .

The community with 51 inhabitants (January 1st, 2017) is located between Épinal and Vittel . The river Madon forms the eastern boundary of the municipality for around 500 meters.
