Peugeot Type 35

The Peugeot Type 35 is an early car model of the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 49 of which were produced at the Audincourt plant from 1900 to 1902 .

The vehicles initially had a two - cylinder four-stroke engine made in-house , which was arranged horizontally in the rear and powered the rear wheels via a chain . From 1901 a single cylinder engine was installed upright. The engine developed between 4 and 8 hp .

With a wheelbase of 165 to 244 cm, the track width was 115 to 190 cm. The body shape of the delivery van with closed cargo space offered space for two people.
