Barville is on the Vair River , about ten kilometers northeast of Neufchâteau . The municipality is surrounded by Harchéchamp in the north, Attignéville in the northeast, Houéville in the southeast, Vouxey in the south, Rollainville in the southwest, Soulosse-sous-Saint-Élophe in the west and Autigny-la-Tour in the northwest.
