Track Cycling World Cup 2013/14
The UCI Track Cycling World Cup 2013/2014 will be held in three races between November 2013 and January 2014. The organizer is the World Cycling Federation UCI . The location of the last run in January 2014 has not yet been determined.
The placements achieved at these events determine the participation of athletes and associations in the UCI Track World Championships 2014 in Cali .
At the World Cup run in Aguascalientes , Mexico , which is around 1,800 meters above sea level, a total of seven world records and two German records were set. In the 1000-meter time trial , the German Maximilian Levy first set a new record with 57.949, which, however, was beaten again a little later by the French François Pervis with 56.303 seconds.

The Australian Anna Meares set a new world record in Aguascalientes with 32.836 seconds and thus undercut her own record of 33.010 seconds, which she had set at the UCI World Railroad Championships in Melbourne in 2012 .

The British women's quartet set a new world record of 4: 19.604 minutes at the Track Cycling World Cup in Manchester . In the run-up they had already broken the existing record with 4:23, 910. The women's team pursuit has only been held with four instead of three drivers this season.

In the qualification for the sprint over 200 meters with a flying start in Aguascalientes four drivers, including the German Maximilian Levy, undercut the existing world record of Kévin Sireau from 2009 in 9.572 seconds. The fastest time was set by the Frenchman François Pervis with 9.347 seconds; Levy's time of 9.563 seconds was a new German record.
