The municipality of Heistenbach is located in the Nassau Nature Park in the foothills of the Westerwald , about 1 km northwest of Diez , 4 km west of Limburg an der Lahn and about 14 km southeast of Montabaur . The Heistenbach flows through the area of ​​the local community.
