Dracy (also: Dracy-sur-Ouanne ) is a French municipality with 216 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yonne in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté (2015: Burgundy ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Auxerre and the canton of Cœur de Puisaye (until 2015: canton of Toucy ). The inhabitants are called Dracycois .
geography
Dracy is located in the Puisaye countryside on the Ouanne River , about 15 miles west-southwest of Auxerre . Dracy is surrounded by the neighboring communities Villiers-Saint-Benoît in the north, Toucy in the east, Fontaines in the south and south-east, Mézilles in the south and south-west and Tannerre-en-Puisaye in the west.
