Saint-Just-Ibarre ( Basque : Donaixti-Ibarre ) is a commune in the French Basque Country with 223 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Bayonne and the canton of Pays de Bidache, Amikuze et Ostibarre (until 2015: canton of Iholdy ). The inhabitants are called Donaixtiar .
geography
Saint-Just-Ibarre is located about 25 kilometers southeast of Bayonne in the south of the historic province of Basse-Navarre in the western Pyrenees on the Bidouze . Saint-Just-Ibarre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bunus and Juxue in the north, Pagolle in the northeast, Musculdy in the east and northeast, Aussurucq in the south and southeast, Hosta in the south and southwest and Ibarrolle in the west and northwest.
