Épégard is a French municipality with 574 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Eure in the region Normandy (before 2016 Haute-Normandie ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Bernay (until 2017: Arrondissement Évreux ) and the canton Le Neubourg . The inhabitants are called Epégardais .

geography

Épégard is located in northern France about 26 kilometers northwest of Évreux . Ecquetot is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Bosc du Theil in the north, Le Troncq in the east and northeast, Iville in the east, Vitot in the south, Sainte-Opportune-du-Bosc in the west and southwest and La Neuville-du-Bosc in the northwest.
