La Saussaye is a commune with 1,872 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Eure in the region of Normandy . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Bernay and the canton of Bourgtheroulde-Infreville (until 2015: canton of Amfreville-la-Campagne ). The inhabitants are called Saulcéens .

La Saussaye is located in northern France about 21 kilometers south-southwest of Rouen on the Oison River . La Saussaye is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Elbeuf in the north and east, Saint-Cyr-la-Campagne in the east and south-east, Saint-Germain-de-Pasquier in the south and south-east, Le Bec-Thomas in the south and south-west, Saint-Pierre- des-Fleurs in the west and south-west and Le Thuit-Anger in the west and north-west.
