Mandres is a commune with 373 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Eure in the region Normandy (before 2016 Haute-Normandie ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Bernay (until 2017: Arrondissement Évreux ) and is part of the canton Verneuil-sur-Avre (until 2015 Canton Damville ). The inhabitants are called mandrais .

Mandres is located about 40 kilometers south-southwest of Évreux . Mandres is surrounded by the neighboring communities Verneuil d'Avre et d'Iton in the north and east, Pullay in the south, Les Barils in the southwest and Bourth in the west.
