La Harengère is a commune with 595 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Eure in the region Normandy (before 2016 Haute-Normandie ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Bernay and the canton of Bourgtheroulde-Infreville ( Amfreville-la-Campagne until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Harengérois .

La Harengère is located in northern France about 31 kilometers south-southwest of Rouen . La Harengère is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Germain-de-Pasquier in the north, Saint-Didier-des-Bois in the east and northeast, Mandeville in the southeast, Criquebeuf-la-Campagne in the south, Fouqueville in the west and Le Bec-Thomas in the Northwest.
