Plainville is on the border of the Pays d'Ouche and Lieuvin , eight kilometers west of Bernay . Plainville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Vincent-du-Boulay in the north, Caorches-Saint-Nicolas in the east, Saint-Victor-de-Chrétienville in the south and southeast and Saint-Mards-de-Fresne in the west.
