Nassandres sur Risle is a French commune with 2,394 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Eure in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Bernay and the canton of Brionne (partly canton of Bernay ).
On January 1, 2017, the previously independent municipalities of Carsix , Fontaine-la-Soret , Nassandres and Perriers-la-Campagne were merged to form the new municipality ( commune nouvelle ) Nassandres sur Risle. The seat of this newly created regional authority is located in the Nassandres district. The towns of Nassandres , Fontaine-la-Soret and Perriers-la-Campagne belong to the canton of Brionne and the town of Carsix to the canton of Bernay.

Nassandres-sur-Risle is located about 15 kilometers east-northeast of Bernay in the Pays d'Ouche . Nassandres-sur-Risle is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Aclou and Brionne in the north, Harcourt in the northeast, Thibouville in the east, Goupil-Othon in the east and southeast, Launay and Serquigny in the south, Saint-Léger-de-Rôtes in the southwest, Plasnes in the West as well as Boisney in the northwest.
