Rougemontiers is a French commune with 1,058 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Eure in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Bernay and is part of the canton of Bourg-Achard (until 2015: canton of Routot ). The inhabitants are called Rubimonastériens .

geography

Rougemontiers is located about 30 kilometers west-southwest of Rouen in the Roumois countryside . Rougemontiers is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Routot in the north, Hauville in the northeast, Bouquetot in the east, Flancourt-Crescy-en-Roumois in the southeast, Illeville-sur-Montfort in the south, Brestot in the west and southwest and Éturqueraye in the west.

The A13 autoroute runs through the municipality .
