Bourg-Achard is a French commune with 3,947 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Eure in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Bernay arrondissement and is the main town ( chef-lieu ) of the canton of Bourg-Achard (until 2015: canton of Routot ). The inhabitants are called Achard-Bourgeois .

Bourg-Achard is located about 22 kilometers west-southwest of Rouen in the Roumois countryside . Bourg-Achard is surrounded by the neighboring communities Honguemare-Guenouville in the north, Bosgouet in the east, Grand Bourgtheroulde in the southeast, Flancourt-Crescy-en-Roumois in the south and southwest and Bouquetot in the west.

The A13 autoroute and the former national route 180 run through the municipality .
