Bernienville is a French municipality with 288 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Eure in the region Normandy (before 2016 Haute-Normandie ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Bernay and the canton of Le Neubourg (until 2015 Évreux-Nord ). The inhabitants are called Bernienvillais .

geography

Bernienville is about ten kilometers northwest of the city center of Évreux . Bernienville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Quittebeuf in the north and northwest, Bacquepuis in the northeast, Sacquenville in the east, Saint-Martin-la-Campagne and Gauville-la-Campagne in the southeast, Claville in the south and west and Tournedos-Bois-Hubert in the west.

The former route nationale 13 (today's D613) passed through the municipality .
