It belongs to the arrondissement of Bernay and the canton of Brionne (until 2015 Beaumont-le-Roger ). The inhabitants are called Écardenvillais .

Écardenville-la-Campagne is about 29 kilometers west-northwest of Évreux . Écardenville-la-Campagne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Rouge-Perriers in the north, Villez-sur-le-Neubourg in the north-east, Épreville-près-le-Neubourg in the east, Combon in the south-east, Bray in the south and Thibouville in the west and north-west.

The former route nationale 13 (today's D613) runs through the municipality .
