The Marrakech ATP tournament is a Moroccan men's tennis tournament . It is held in honor of the late Moroccan King Hassan II and is therefore officially called Grand Prix Hassan II . The competition was held outdoors on sand in Casablanca from 1986 . In the first four years he was part of the ATP Challenger Tour , then he belonged to the ATP World Tour and on this to the category ATP World Tour 250 . In 2016 the tournament moved to Marrakech , but was still played outdoors on clay.

In the individual, the Spaniard Pablo Andújar managed to win the tournament three times - twice in Casablanca, once in Marrakech; in doubles, František Čermák and Leoš Friedl from the Czech Republic as well as Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tecău are the only multiple title winners. The last tournament winner from Morocco was Younes El Aynaoui in 2002.
