Haute Ville is a French commune with 352 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) within the arrondissement Chambéry in the department of Savoie in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The municipality belongs to the canton of Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny (until 2015: canton of Chamoux-sur-Gelon ). The inhabitants are called Hautevillais .

Hauteville is located about 20 kilometers east-southeast of Chambéry . Hauteville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Châteauneuf in the north and northeast, Betton-Bettonet in the east, La Trinité in the south and southwest, Villard-d'Héry in the southwest and Coise-Saint-Jean-Pied-Gauthier in the west.
