Porte-de-Savoie is a French commune with 3,680 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Savoie in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the canton of Montmélian and the Arrondissement of Chambéry .

It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 by amalgamating the previous municipalities of Les Marches and Francin , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Les Marches.
