Lépin-le-Lac is located about eleven kilometers west-southwest of Chambéry on Lac d'Aiguebelette . Neighboring municipalities of Lépin-le-Lac are Saint-Alban-de-Montbel in the north and northwest, Aiguebelette-le-Lac in the north and east, Vimines in the east and south-east, Attignat-Oncin in the south and La Bridoire in the west and south-west.
