Entrelacs is a French municipality with 6268 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Savoie in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Chambéry and the canton of Aix-les-Bains-1 .
Geographical location
Entrelacs is located around 22 kilometers north of Albertville on the Lac du Bourget . Entrelacs is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Bloye and Massingy in the north, Saint-Félix in the northeast, Saint-Ours in the east and northeast, Chainaz-les-Frasses in the east, Grésy-sur-Aix and Montcel in the southeast, La Biolle in the south, and Brison -Saint-Innocent in the southwest, Saint-Pierre-de-Curtille in the west and Chindrieux in the northwest.
The A41 autoroute runs through the municipality .

On January 1, 2016, Entrelacs was formed as Commune nouvelle from the previously independent municipalities of Albens , Cessens , Épersy , Mognard , Saint-Germain-la-Chambotte and Saint-Girod .
