Nance is a French municipality with 490 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Savoie in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the canton of Le Pont-de-Beauvoisin in the Arrondissement of Chambéry and is a member of the Le Lac d'Aiguebelette municipality . The residents are called Nanceyards .

Nances is about twelve kilometers west of Chambéry on Lac d'Aiguebelette . Neighboring municipalities of Nances are Novalaise in the north and west, Marcieux in the north and northwest, La Motte-Servolex in the east, Saint-Sulpice in the southeast, Aiguebelette-le-Lac in the south and La Bridoire in the west and southwest.
