Non-attached to the European Parliament 1999-2004
- The eight members of the Italian Alleanza Nazionale ( Roberta Angelilli , Sergio Berlato , Gianfranco Fini , Sebastiano Musumeci , Cristiana Muscardini , Mauro Nobilia , Adriana Poli Bortone , Franz Turchi ) and Mariotto Segni (Patto Segni) were on the day of the constitution of parliament, 21. July 1999, non-attached and officially joined the UEN group the following day.

Non-attached to the European Parliament 2014-2019
When it was constituted, 52 MPs were non-attached. On October 16, 2014, the Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy Group (EFDD) was dissolved and re-established on October 19, 2014; the 47 MPs concerned were non-attached in the meantime and are not listed separately below. On June 15, 2015, the Group for Europe of Nations and Freedom (ENF) was founded. At the end of the electoral term, 20 MPs were non-attached.
