The list of religious buildings in Hochsauerlandkreis includes existing and former religious buildings , mostly church building in sponsorship of Christian and other religious communities in Hochsauerlandkreis .
The Roman Catholic churches are located in the Archdiocese of Paderborn . The municipalities form the deans of Hochsauerland-West (formerly the deans of Arnsberg and Sundern), Middle (former of the deans of Meschede and Wormbach), and the east (former of the deans of Bigge-Medebach and Brilon-Marsberg).
The Protestant parishes belong to the Arnsberg parish of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia .
