Le Pontet is a French municipality with 122 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Savoie in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It is located in the Arrondissement of Chambéry and the canton of Montmélian (until 2015: canton of La Rochette ).
location
It is only about seven kilometers to the east as the crow flies to the A43 motorway and five kilometers to the D 925 department road, but since the town is very high, there is a mountain pass on both sides. To the west, not far from Le Pontet, the Ruisseau de Desertet stream rises and flows towards the neighboring village of Les Granges in the east.
