Rouvres is a French municipality with 218 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Falaise .

geography

Rouvres is about 13 km north of Falaise and 27 km southeast of Caen . The municipality is surrounded by Maizières in the north and east, Sassy in the southeast, Olendon in the south, Ouilly-le-Tesson in the southwest, Estrées-la-Campagne in the west and Soignolles in the northwest. The Laizon flows centrally through the Rouvres area.
