Game Two is a German program on video and computer games that has been produced on behalf of funk since 2016 . It is seen as the successor to Game One , which was discontinued in December 2014.

    Moderators

The show is moderated by the former Game One cast: Simon Krätschmer , Daniel Budiman , Nils Bomhoff and Etienne Gardé , supplemented by the new moderators Lara Trautmann and Sofia Kats. The contributions are mostly spoken by Ingo Mess .

In episode 7, Florentin Will and Lars Eric Paulsen moderated the show due to illness . They were disguised as Nils Bomhoff and Etienne Gardé.

    Studio

The studio, located in the Hamburg district of Altona-Nord , is owned by its own production company, Rocket Beans Entertainment GmbH . The studio consists of a wooden look with video game elements, such as various game consoles as a background and a floppy disk as a table. Two armchairs and a couch on which guests are received serve as seating furniture. There is also a walk-in green screen available.

    content

The program introduces new releases of video games and uses tests to advise viewers on purchasing decisions . Events on new releases, such as the Nintendo Switch game console , are also reported. Important characteristics in the moderation of the tests are humor and creativity. Almost all tested games are parodied during the test and commented on with short excerpts from films, series or Internet videos. Outtakes from the programs are shown on Instagram .

Conceptually, the production is similar to the previous program Game One and is in the tradition of classic computer game journalism . The first season of Game Two was broadcast live in full .
