Game operations during the COVID-19 pandemic
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy during the global COVID-19 pandemic , it was decided, with the consent of the state government, to hold several games in closed circuit in February and March 2020. In addition, several games had to be postponed.
On March 9, the association and government finally announced that they would suspend gaming until further notice. On June 20, he was resumed with the catch-up games of the 25th match day, as in many other leagues in Europe without spectators. If a player on one team had tested positive for COVID-19, this would have led to a 14-day quarantine for the entire team.
