Virus was a French car brand.

Company history

The company Garage Renouvier of Pierre Brissonnet was in Paris near the Rue Renouvier 4 Pere Lachaise home. In 1930 the production of automobiles began, marketed as a virus. Production ended in 1935. After the Second World War , vehicles were again produced, which were now marketed as Brissonnet .

Mainly motorcycles and sidecars were manufactured . There were also small cars. A two-stroke engine with a displacement of 350 cm³ provided the drive . The vehicles were front-wheel drive . The design came from a Mr. Renaud, who later made cars himself.
