Notes :

  1. Mark McDonald was suspended by the SNP because of allegations about his behavior and then resigned from the party.
  2. John Lamont resigned from May 4, 2017 to contest the 2017 UK Parliament election. This triggered a re-election in his Scottish Parliament seat, which will take place on the same day as the UK General Election (June 8th 2017).
  3. Rachael Hamilton returned her place on the list to contest the by-election in the constituency of Ettrick, Roxburgh and Berwickshire on June 8, 2017 for a direct mandate.
  4. Douglas Ross has resigned his seat in the Scottish Parliament after winning a seat in the House of Commons in the UK general election in 2017.
  5. Ross Thomson has resigned his seat in the Scottish Parliament after winning a seat in the House of Commons in the UK general election in 2017.
  6. Michelle Ballantyne replaces Rachael Hamilton in the listing constituency of South Scotland.
  7. Rachael Hamilton won the by-election in the constituency of Ettrick, Roxburgh and Berwickshire on June 8, 2017, a direct mandate.
  8. Jamie Halcro Johnston replaces Douglas Ross in the Highlands and Islands list constituency.
  9. Tom Mason replaces Ross Thomson in the list constituency of North East Scotland.
  10. Ken Macintosh was elected Presiding Officer and therefore left his party membership dormant for the duration of the office.
