Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary

A St. Mary Visitation Church or Chapel is a church , monastery church or chapel dedicated to the history of the life of Mary of the encounter with Elizabeth dedicated or dedicated. The patronage is the Feast of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary (Visitatio Mariæ) on May 31st ( Catholic ) and July 2nd ( Protestant and Orthodox , Catholic until 1965).

Many of these churches are also Liebfrauenkirchen , title churches , cathedral churches (episcopal churches ), basilicas , sanctuaries and the like. Ä.
