Thil ( Occitan : Tilh ) is a French commune with 1,176 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Toulouse and the Canton of Léguevin (until 2015: Canton Grenade ). The inhabitants are called Thilois .

geography

Thil is about 20 kilometers northwest of Toulouse . Thil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Launac in the north and northeast, Larra in the northeast, Bretx in the east, Menville in the southeast, La Castèra in the south, Bellegarde-Sainte-Marie and Garac in the southwest, Le Grès in the west and Pelleport in the west and northwest.
