Ursus was a French car brand.

Company history

The company G. Menegault-Basset from Arcueil began in 1908 with the production of automobiles which were marketed as Ursus . Production ended again in the same year.

The only model 8 CV was a small car. A single-cylinder engine provided the drive . The specialty was the friction or friction gear . The body offered space for two people.
