Žerůtky (German Zerutek , 1939–45 Scherutka ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located nine kilometers northwest of Znojmo and belongs to the Okres Znojmo .
geography
Žerůtky is located in the valley of the Žerůtský potok in the Jevišovická pahorkatina ( Jaispitzer hill country ). The Jevišovka Nature Park extends to the north. To the north rise the Královka (379 m nm) and the Vápenice (376 m nm), in the southwest of the Vinohrad (395 m nm) and northwest of the Kněží háj (405 m nm). About half a kilometer northeast of the village, the state road I / 38 / E 59 between Znojmo and Moravské Budějovice passes Žerůtky. The Znojmo – Kolín railway line runs on the southern outskirts, and the Olbramkostel station is one kilometer southwest of the village on the Žerůtky corridors.
Neighboring towns are Olbramkostel , Jankovec and Bojanovice in the north, Kocanda, Kravsko and Plenkovice in the Northeast, Na Pile and Mramotice the east, Kasárna, Znojmo and Cínová Hora in the southeast, Citonice and Bezkov in the south, Milíčovice and Horni Břečkov in the southwest, Vracovice , Lesná and Šumná in the west and Štítary and Ctidružice in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of the village came in 1353 when part of the Šenkenberk Castle was sold . In 1526, the town of Znojmo bought the goods of the Wolframskirchen provost's church, which was under the supervision of Artleb von Boskowitz , with the village and parish Wolframskirchen, the desolate villages of Žerůtky and Moskowitz , a farm in Běhařovice , half an interest fee in Jakobau and the grain tenth in Tupessitz for 2000 Moravian guilders from the last provost Johannes Dubravius . Subsequently, the city combined the Propsteigut with other goods in the vicinity of the city to form the Untergut, which, together with the Obergut Schidrowitz, was part of the Znojmo urban estates. The Žerůtky farm was closed and parceled out in 1779.
In 1834 Zierutek or Zěrutky consisted of 41 houses with 235 mostly Czech-speaking residents. The parish was in Wolframskirchen. Until the middle of the 19th century, Zierutek remained subordinate to the sub-estate of the Znojmo urban estates. The place of administration was the city of Znojmo.
After the abolition of patrimonial formed Žerůtky / Zerutek 1849 a municipality in the judicial district of Znojmo. In 1868 the village became part of the Znojmo region. At that time the construction of the Znojmo-Iglau railway began , which was completed in 1871; Wolframitzkirchen station was built in the open field near Žerůtky . After the Munich Agreement , the Olbramkostel train station was separated from Žerůtky in 1938 and added to the municipality of Oberfröschau in the German Empire. Žerůtky stayed with Czechoslovakia and was assigned to the Okres Moravské Budějovice. After the end of the Second World War, the station came back to the municipality of Žerůtky in Czechoslovakia.
