history
Extensive archaeological finds prove a settlement of the area from the Neolithic to the Slavic conquest. There was a fortress on Leskoun, which is now heavily dismantled by a quarry.
The first written mention of Lissnisz took place in 1190 in the course of basic transfers. In 1349, the Zdenko von Leipa , one of the owners of the Krumlov Castle , also owned the farm in Lysenice . The village always remained part of the Krumlov rule. Landlords were the lords of Leipa until 1369 , then the lords of Krawarn until 1434 and then again the lords of Leipa. After the Battle of White Mountain in 1621, all of the goods belonging to Berthold Bohuslaw ( Bohubud ) von Leipa, who was a leader of the Moravian estates, were confiscated. In 1625 Gundaker von Liechtenstein acquired the Krumlov rule, which then remained in the possession of the House of Liechtenstein for almost 300 years .
In 1835 the village Lisnitz or Lesonice in the Znojmo district consisted of 36 houses, in which 215 people lived. There was a manorial farm in the village. The parish was Petrowitz . Until the middle of the 19th century, Lisnitz remained subject to the Fideikommiss-Primogeniturherrschaft Mährisch-Krummau .
After the abolition of patrimonial Lisenice / Lissnitz formed a municipality in the judicial district of Mährisch Kromau from 1849 . During the German War in 1866 Prussian troops passed through Lisenice . From 1869 the village belonged to the Moravian Kromau district . At that time Lisenice had 265 inhabitants and consisted of 48 houses. At the end of the 19th century the name of the Czech community was changed to Lesonice . In 1900 there were 339 people living in Lesonice; In 1910 there were 358. The school was built in 1913. In the 1921 census, 408 people lived in the community's 73 houses, including 399 Czechs and one German. In 1930 Lesonice consisted of 88 houses and had 368 inhabitants. After the German occupation, the community was reclassified in 1939 to the judicial district of Hrottowitz and the district of Mährisch Budwitz; until 1945 Lesonice / Lißnitz belonged to the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia . After the end of the war, the old district structures were restored. After the collectivization, the Meierhof was managed by a JZD , who waived the maintenance of the yard. In 1950 Lesonice had 342 inhabitants. In the course of the territorial reform and the abolition of the Okres Moravský Krumlov, the municipality was assigned to the Okres Znojmo on July 1, 1960 . The farm has been unused since the JZD was dissolved and in a neglected condition. At the 2001 census, there were 178 people in Lesonice's 102 houses.
