Dobelice (German Dobelitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers southwest of Moravský Krumlov and belongs to the Okres Znojmo .
geography
Dobelice is located on the right side of the Rokytná on a terrace at the south-western end of the Boskovická brázda ( Boskovice furrow ). The Ledvický potok stream - a tributary to the Rokytná - flows around the village to the west and north. In the northeast rises the Perk (294 m nm), east of the Topánovský kopec (269 m nm), in the southwest of the Na Vartě (323 m nm) and northwest of the Pipele (331 m nm). To the northeast is the Týnský rybník pond. In Dobelice, the state road II / 413 between Moravský Krumlov and Znojmo crosses with the II / 396 between Rouchovany and Branišovice .
Neighboring towns are Rybníky in the north, Rakšice in the northeast, Leskoun and Vedrovice in the east, Petrovice in the southeast, Kadov , Míšovice and Chlupice in the south, Skalice , Trstěnice and Džbánice in the southwest, Vémyslice in the west and Dolní Dubňany in the northwest.
history
Archaeological finds prove an early settlement of the area. A Slavic settlement existed in the more recent fortifications. Remains of unique stamped ceramics were found within the local development, and body graves from the 10th – 12th centuries were found near the desert Ledvice Castle . Century found. In the course of the colonization of the 13th century, further villages emerged in the area, some of which became extinct again.
The village was first mentioned in writing in 1260 in connection with Heinrich von Dobelitz. At this time, south-west of Dobelice a. the towns of Berg and Kravky; Preserved field names such as Berg , Silberbergen and Kukusbergen indicate that it was mining settlements. The settlements may have been abandoned after the poor ore deposits were exhausted; the subsequently uninhabited area in the hills between Kadov, Petrovice, Dobelice, Vémyslice, Džbanice, Trstěnice, Skalice and Míšovice was divided into the surrounding villages, which gave rise to the unusual shape of the Dobelice cadastre. In 1350 Bohunek von Dobelitz and Pozděch von Lidéřovice held shares of Dobelice; Niklas von Dobelitz also owned a farm. The latter sold his farm to Jaroslaw von Knönic in 1360 . In the same year Heinrich von Weitmühl prescribed income in Dobelice to his wife Geruša. In 1360, Čeněk von Leipa also donated a farm in Dobelice with the Džbanická hora vineyard to the Augustinian monastery he founded in Krumlov : later the monastery acquired a mill and a pond. In 1363 Bulik von Trzstyenicz was named as the owner of another farm. Jaroslaw von Knönic sold his property in Dobelice dem Hinz von Leipa in 1370 . Four years later, Hrdon Krabyce von Weitmühl left four hubs in Dobelice to Mandlik von Dobelitz. At the end of the 14th century, the lords of Leipa gradually acquired the various shares apart from the monastery. They united these and left the Dobelice estate to feudal people who entered their service as hereditary marshals. In 1415 Janek von Tulešic had his seat in Dobelice, between 1464 and 1484 Zich Dobelický von Popůvka and from 1491 Vaněk von Skrbeňy. During this time, after the fall of the Augustinian monastery, the lords of Leipa received the monastic share. At the beginning of the 16th century the Dobelice fiefdom was withdrawn and handed over to the direct administration of the Krumlov rule . After the Battle of White Mountain in 1621, all of the goods belonging to Berthold Bohuslaw ( Bohubud ) von Leipa, who was a leader of the Moravian estates, were confiscated. In 1625 Gundaker von Liechtenstein acquired the Krumlov rule, which then remained in the possession of the House of Liechtenstein for almost 300 years .
In 1835 the village Dobelitz or Dobelice , located in the Znojmo district on the trade route from Znojmo to Brno , consisted of 42 houses in which 204 people lived. There was a stately inn in the village. The parish was Petrowitz . Until the middle of the 19th century Dobelitz remained subject to the Fideikommiss-Primogeniturherrschaft Moravian-Krummau .
After the abolition of patrimonial formed Dobelice / Dobelitz 1849 a municipality in court Moravia Kromau . From 1869 the village belonged to the Moravian Kromau district . At that time Dobelice had 238 inhabitants and consisted of 45 houses. In 1900 there were 262 people in Dobelice; In 1910 there were 261. In the 1921 census, 270 Czechs lived in the 64 houses of the community. In 1930 Dobelice consisted of 71 houses and 252 inhabitants. After the German occupation, the community was reclassified in 1939 to the judicial district of Hrottowitz and the district of Mährisch Budwitz; until 1945 Dobelice / Dobelitz belonged to the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia . After the end of the war, the old district structures were restored. In 1950 Dobelice had 270 inhabitants. In the course of the territorial reform and the abolition of the Okres Moravský Krumlov, the municipality was assigned to the Okres Znojmo on July 1, 1960 . On July 1, 1980 the incorporation to Moravský Krumlov took place , since November 24, 1990 the municipality Dobelice exists again. In the 2001 census, there were 269 people living in the 89 houses in Dobelice. The community has had a coat of arms and a banner since 2010.
Community structure
The Dobelice cadastre has a very unusual shape. In addition to the fields around the village, Dobelice also has larger fields and meadows to the south and south-west. The south-western part of the district is only connected to the rest of the area by a narrow strip of land along a path.

- Chapel at the crossroads
- Bell tower of St. Peter and Paul on the village square, built in 1881. After the renovation, it was solemnly consecrated to the Apostles Peter and Paul on June 26, 2016. The two figures of saints come from the side altar of the church in Komín.
- Ledvice desert castle
- Nature reserve Na Kocourkách, southwest of the place, two rocky peaks made of island-like deposits of the Tertiary Sea with steppe vegetation, populations of warmth-loving plant and animal species are protected
