Hrusko-Lomiwka (Ukrainian Грузько-Ломівка ; Russian Грузско-Ломовка / Grusko-Lomowka ) is an urban-type settlement in eastern Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast with about 600 inhabitants.
geography
The urban-type settlement located in the Don Basin , about 17 kilometers southeast from Oblastzentrum Donetsk and 19 kilometers southeast from the city of Makiivka , whose urban district counts them away through the village flows the river Hruska (Грузька), the city Mospyne closes immediately South to the local area.
The place belongs to the settlement council of Hrusko-Sorjanske (5 kilometers northwest), which is administratively assigned to the Stadtrajon Hirnyz within Makijiwka.
history
The place was built before the 19th century, in 1961 Hrusko-Lomivka got the status of an urban-type settlement, since summer 2014 the place has been occupied by separatists of the Donetsk People's Republic during the Ukraine war .
In 1997 the Kasperov women's monastery (Касперівський монастир) was opened in the place.
