Yunokomunarivsk ( Ukrainian Юнокомунарівськ - Ukrainian officially since May 12, 2016 Бунге / Bunhe ; Russian Юнокоммунаровск Junokommunarowsk ) is a city in the eastern Ukrainian Donetsk Oblast with about 14,000 inhabitants.
The town council of the same name, which in turn is part of the township of Jenakijewe , also includes the urban-type Druschne settlement to the south .
Olchowatka is located about 5 kilometers east of the city center of Jenakijewe and 41 kilometers northeast of the Oblast capital Donetsk , the city is heavily influenced by mining.
The place was created in the course of the establishment of a Russian-Belgian mining company in 1908, they called the shaft Bunge (Бунге). In 1924 the place was renamed Junkom (Юнком), derived from Juny Kommunar (Юный коммунар) (" youth commune "). In 1965 the place was given city status, at the same time it was renamed to its current name.
In 1979 a scientifically planned underground nuclear explosion occurred in a shaft in the village at a depth of 900 meters .
In September 2014, during the course of the war in Ukraine, the Ukrainian troops were ousted from the city by the separatists of the Donetsk People's Republic .
